Job Summary 

Are you a visionary product leader with a passion for Fintech and a knack for driving innovation? We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Head of Product to spearhead our Canadian expansion. In this pivotal role, you’ll define and execute the product strategy for the Canadian market, tailoring our solutions to meet local needs while aligning with our global vision. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver products that delight our customers and propel us to new heights in the private lending industry.

Key Responsibilities 

·       Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the product roadmap for the Canadian market, aligning with company objectives and customer needs.

·       Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape in Canada.

·       Product Development: Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new features and products tailored to the Canadian private lending sector.

·       Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive product delivery.

·       Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

·       Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with Canadian financial regulations and standards.

·       Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product team in Canada.

·       Performance Tracking: Set KPIs and use analytics to track product performance and inform decision-making.

·       Innovation Champion: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging new ideas and approaches to solve customer challenges.

Qualifications 

·       Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the Fintech or SaaS industry.

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

·       Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Canadian financial services industry and regulatory environment.

·       Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

·       Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.

·       Customer-Centric: Passionate about understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional products.

·       Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·       Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members.
