Introducing the Latest Build for Version 1.9.17 of The Mortgage Office™
Builds are updates and enhancements to The Mortgage Office™ that are made available to you in between major product version releases. These build releases can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your system works, or enhance your user experience. They should be installed as soon as possible to prevent or repair known problems.

You may download the update from this site, or if you prefer to receive a CD-ROM by mail, please fill out, sign, and submit a Software Update Request form via U.S. mail or fax. The requests will be processed in the order received. Build 003 - Released 6/8/2009

Report Net Rate/Payment on LendersViewCentral.COM. The Web Publishing Central service has been enhanced to report the net interest rate and payment amount in lender loan portfolios. This option has been available on the lender statement of account. If selected, the lenders' interest rate and payment amount are adjusted to reflect lender servicing fees and/or rate modifiers.   Other Additions, Modifications and Corrections
 
Web Publishing Central. If a loan is collateralized by more than one property, the primary property is used in Web Publishing Central.
Web Publishing Central. The "Next Payment Information" box in www.borrowersviewcentral.com was modified to mirror the borrower payment statement.
Loan Servicing. The Interest Accrual report was not printing the 3rd decimal of the note rate.
Mortgage Pool Servicing (Shares and Capital). HELOCs or Construction loans that had a zero dollar principal balance but were not paid off were excluded from the pool's portfolio, eventhough it may have had other balances (e.g., unpaid interest).
Tax Forms Management & Printing. A correction was made to the Canadian T5. Changes made to the street, city or postal code fields may not have been saved.
Loan Origination. The Lender Disclosure Statement (Multi-Property Addendum) had a formatting error that was corrected in this release.
Trust Accounting. Under certain conditions, the running balance on the register may have been incorrect. This affected only the screen and the print preview.
Build 002 - Released 2/18/2009

Canadian T5 Statement of Investment Income. The Tax Forms Management and Printing module has been enhanced to support the three "Other Information" boxes of the Canada Revenue Agency T5 form. When importing the T5s, the Mortgage Office now places amounts other than interest in the "Other information" section as Box 14. The remaining two boxes may be used to report any additional amounts on the T5.

   
Build 001 - Released 12/18/2008

Lender Analytics. Monitor and manage each lender's loan portfolio more effectively with up-to-the-minute information reporting on a range of key factors. It displays snapshots of current, statistical, historical data, and performance trends in a comprehensive graphical view.

Quickly and easily, portfolio managers and investment counselors can have the information they need to gauge the performance of an individual lender's loan portfolio. Currently, it includes the following six controls:

  • Revenues
  • Loan Distribution by Priority
  • Loan Distribution by Maturity
  • Loan Aging
  • Loan Distribution by Primary Property Type
  • Weighted LTV by Primary Property Type
 

Business Today. You may now copy or print any of the controls with a simple mouse right-click. Right-click anywhere on a control in Business Today, and select Copy to Clipboard or Print from the menu. The Copy to Clipboard selection enables you to easily insert (Ctrl-v or Paste) an image of the control onto another application such as Microsoft's Word, PowerPoint or Excel. The Print selection outputs an image of the control to a printer of your choice.

 

Loan Servicing. You can now use the lender filter option to hide lenders based on one or more categories. For example, you may want to use this option to hide inactive lenders. Additionally, an option to activate or deactivate the filter has been added to both loan and lender filters.

 

SmartViews. When creating or editing SmartViews you may now specify whether filtered (hidden) loans should be included or excluded from the final query. You also have the option to apply the query against only filtered loans. For example, you may now create a SmartView that displays only the filtered loans by selecting Include “Only Filtered Loans in Query” option.
 

Custom Funding Letters. The option to Exclude Lenders with 0% Ownership has been added to the Funding Letter Assistant. This option enables you to send a custom funding letter to all lenders in a loan or to only the lenders in a loan that have ownership.

 

Lender Statement - New Charts Section. The lender statement has been enhanced with a new Charts & Options section. There are five optional charts to select from, with each chart providing a different graphical representation of the lender's loan portfolio. Additionally, you may select the chart's color palette and whether is printed in 3D or 2D.

 

Lender Statement - New Funding Section. You may now select to include a lender's funding activity for the selected period when printing lender statements.
 

Lender Portfolio. You may now select to view All Funding History for a lender or only the lender's funding history for the selected loan. Selecting to view All Funding Histroy will display a chronological listing of this lender fundings for all loans.

 

Ability to Send an E-mail to All Funding Lenders in a Loan. The loan's funding window has been enhanced to enable you to easily send an e-mail message to all the funding lenders.

 

Loan Aging Trial Balance Report. The report assistant has a new option then enables you to print a loan aging trial balance report as of a user selected date.
 

System Information. The About form now correctly detects and reports Windows Vista Business and Ultimate versions.

 

Loan Servicing Charges. The Assess Finance Charges column has been added to both the lender and borrower charges grid. Additionally, the Interest Rate column correctly now displays a null value instead of 0.00% if the loan type is a line of credit or construction.

 

Borrower Notices. The following borrower notices now support custom fields (UDFs). The Mail Merge borrower toolbar is now populated with all borrower custom fields that can be inserted within the notice.

ACH Express - Automated Borrower Payments. A new option has been added enabling you to consolidate automated (ACH) borrower payments into a single bank deposit in the Trust Fund Accounting module by effective date.

The grouping of automated (ACH) borrower payments into a single bank deposit allows you to easily identify each deposit when reconciling your bank statement.
 

Lender Portfolio. Two new fields, First Funding Date and Last Funding Date, are available when viewing the lender's portfolio. These fields are hidden by default, so you must use the customize grid icon ( ) to display them.

 

SmartViews. A new button has been added to the grid which enables you to duplicate a SmartView. Once the SmartView is copied, you may then edit and customize it to fit your needs.
 

SmartViews. A new context-sensitive menu item has been added to enable you to recreate deleted default SmartViews. Default (system) SmartViews are automatically available when a new company database is created.

   
  Other Additions, Modifications & Corrections
Custom Letters. Bug when printing borrower letters for loans without an originating vendor. If the loan had no originating vendor, the printing would fail.
Loan Servicing Charges. Corrected an occasional rounding error when using "Distribute to All Lenders".

Loan Servicing. Corrected an error when applying a payoff if a Consumer Credit Reporting record didn't exist.
Loan Origination. Corrected a problem when updating an Escrow with a relation to the new MLDS table.
Borrower Payment Distribution. Under certain situations, if you selected to add a note to all distributions but then changed your mind and clicked Cancel, all system generated automatic notes were deleted and wouldn't appear in the checks. Corrected.
Custom Letters & Notices. Microsoft Word MailMerge failed when printing a custom letter or notice if one or more custom fileld names contained invalid characters such as %.
Database. An intermittent problem deleting a corrupted View (Query) with ADO has been corrected.
Payoff Demand. You may now print a demand for payoff for loans placed on hold withhout having to first removing the hold. You will receive a warning, but be allowed to continue.
